Venue sales Manager
Priscilla currently serves as the Venue Sales Manager for The Mezzanine. Ms. Plasai most recently held a position as Operations Manager / Senior Associate for LW Hospitality Advisors where she prepared hotel appraisals and implemented more streamlined policies and procedures to assist in the company's nationwide expansion. Prior to that, Ms. Plasai served as Sales Manager for the Marriott International Regional Sales Offices in Miami and Irvine. She represented a total of 151 Marriott-managed hotels across 10 brands in Florida, Southern California, Arizona, and Nevada. Prior to working at Marriott, Ms. Plasai gained substantial operational experience in the hospitality industry through previous positions including Sales & Marketing at The Setai Fifth Avenue (now Langham Place), Front Office at the Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa, Housekeeping at The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park, and Events & Marketing at La Pietra International Conference and Events Center in Florence, Italy.
Ms. Plasai holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from the New York University Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism, and Sports Management, with a concentration in Marketing and Revenue Management.
Venue operations Manager
Richie currently serves as the Venue Operations Manager for The Mezzanine. Richie’s start in the hospitality industry can be traced back to his childhood, influenced by his celebrity chef father, Ricardo Cardona. Having most recently headed operations at SPiN, McCarren Hotel & Pool, and Cantina Rooftop, Richie's responsibilities included oversight of all food and beverage outlets, events management and lounge services, staffing, cost control, menu creation, and implementation of standard operating procedures. He also provided off-site planning and execution services for corporate and social events and oversaw the SPiN food & beverage department, which encompassed operating and maximizing revenue for banquets, culinary, restaurant outlets, lounge,and bar.
Having worked previously in partner & event planer roles at Cardona Catering & Restaurant Consulting Group, Richie has worked with celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Preston Bailey, the New York Yankees, and many others. He created standard operating procedures for all events, managed event budgets, and generated new business through networking and post-event follow-up.
